Kendrick Gray (35yoa) – Evading arrest or detention with vehicle, evading arrest or detention with previous conviction, criminal mischief, possession of marijuana, traffic offenses, and multiple warrants. At the conclusion of the preliminary investigation, the suspect was charged with the mentioned offenses: This was a group effort with the assistance of Patrol, Anti-Crime Unit, Gang Unit, Lake Division, K-9 Division, and the Drone Team. The driver was found to have multiple warrants and possession of marijuana. The driver was later taken into custody by responding officers. The passenger of the vehicle complied with the officer’s commands and was detained without incident. The driver later exited his vehicle in the 1900 block of Raney and evaded on foot. The driver disregarded the police lights/sirens and proceeded to evade the detention in his vehicle. The vehicle was occupied by two male subjects. The San Angelo Police Department initiated the traffic stop at the intersection of Howard/Junius for failure to signal 100 feet prior to turning at the intersection. Numerous officers searched the area, and the individual was taken into custody and charged with multiple offenses. At the end of the vehicle pursuit, the individual fled on foot. San Angelo, TX (September 06, 2023, 9:24 pm): An individual was arrested after leading officers on a vehicle pursuit. We ask that the public continues to stay vigilant and report suspicious activity in and around your neighborhoods. This investigation/arrest was a great example of our citizen’s recognizing suspicious activity and quickly notifying the SAPD. SAPD’s Criminal Investigation Division were requested on scene to assist and Brazeal was ultimately charged with the above offenses. It was learned that Brazeal took the pellet rifles and other assorted property from the open garage without the owner’s consent. While further investigating the incident, a passerby spoke with officers and advised that they had observed Brazeal enter into an attached garage of a residence in the 5200blk of Green Valley Trail. While speaking with officers, Brazeal gave false/fictitious identifying information as he knew he had active County Warrants for his arrest. Officers learned that the suspected firearms were not real and that they were really pellet rifles. Brazeal complied with officer’s commands and dropped the suspected firearms on the ground before being detained. Officers arrived on scene and were able to locate Brazeal with what appeared to be multiple firearms in his possession. Officers were dispatched to 3600blk of Sunset Drive in reference to a “Subject with a Weapon” call for service. Thirty-five-year-old Brady Brazeal was taken into custody for County Warrants, Failure to Identify (Fugitive from Justice,) and Burglary of a Habitation. ![]() San Angelo, TX (October 7 th, 2023, 7:18pm): One male was taken into custody Saturday evening after a passerby observed him walking with multiple suspected firearms in the Southwest part of town.
